Basecamp Trapper’s Hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport, and the airport bus stops right outside. It offers free parking and genuine lodge-style accommodation with private bathrooms.
Basecamp’s cosy, individually decorated rooms feature driftwood furniture, fur rugs and free Wi-Fi.
Guests can enjoy a drink in the hotel pub. The Cognac Attic has a glass ceiling, which allows guests to view the famous Arctic light from the comfort of the hotel.
The reception area at Basecamp Trapper’s is equipped with a TV and an internet computer for guests’ convenience.

The rooms are decorated in traditional trapper style with driftwood, sealskin and slate. All rooms have a private bathroom.
Twin Room
The rooms are decorated in traditional trapper style with driftwood, sealskin and slate. Beds are either 2 single beds or one double bed. Double bed on request. All rooms have private bathrooms.
Triple Room
The rooms are decorated in traditional trapper style with driftwood, sealskin and slate. Beds are either 3 single beds or one double and one single bed. Double bed on request. All rooms have private bathrooms.
Suite
The suite has a separate living room and offers mountain, glacier or fjord views.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled or modified up to 22 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of total price of the reservation will be charged.
Deposit Policy
40 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking.
Children and Extra Bed Policy
All children are welcome.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged NOK 500 per night per person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Wi-fi is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.
